Because the right coach-athlete fit matters, Athlete Express gives families protection both before and after the first lesson.
If Athlete Express cannot match you with an available coach who serves your requested area and scheduling needs, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you’re not satisfied with your coach after the first lesson, contact us within 24 hours. We’ll work to match you with another coach, and the first lesson with the original coach will be refunded.
The first-lesson guarantee applies to the first completed lesson with your original coach. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Additional terms and eligibility details should be included in the final Refund & Cancellation Policy before launch.
From a child getting comfortable in the water to a teen refining strokes or an adult learning to swim, Athlete Express can match swimmers with individualized instruction based on their level and goals.
Possible lesson locations: your home pool, an approved neighborhood/community pool, a private pool where outside instruction is permitted, or another safe aquatic location arranged by the client.
Swimming lessons can be an important part of a broader water-safety plan. They should always be paired with close supervision and other safety measures.
Important: Swim lessons do not make a child “drown-proof.” Children still need close, constant adult supervision around water.

The session can focus on the exact skills your athlete needs instead of following a one-size-fits-all class plan.
The coach can slow down, repeat a skill or move ahead based on the athlete’s progress and confidence.
Less waiting for a turn can mean more time practicing, receiving feedback and applying corrections.
A private setting can feel more comfortable for kids who are shy, brand-new to a sport or nervous in group environments.
Work toward a first swim, better ball control, stronger shooting, improved footwork or another specific goal.
Training is organized around your athlete, your availability and a suitable location you arrange.

How Athlete Express matches your athlete with a coach based on sport, goals, location and schedule.
What locations can work, who provides access and what families should confirm before booking.
Answers for all-age swim lessons, pool access, beginner swimmers and water-safety expectations.
At a safe, appropriate location arranged by the parent or client. Depending on the sport, that could be a home pool, approved community pool, local field, park, court, backyard or another location where private instruction is permitted.
You can use another pool you have permission to access, such as an approved community or private pool that allows outside instructors. The client is responsible for securing access and confirming that coaching is allowed.
No. Athlete Express can support swim lesson requests for children, teens and adults, from water-comfort beginners through swimmers working on stroke technique.
Private lessons let the coach tailor the session to one athlete’s goals and pace. That can mean more individualized feedback, more repetitions and less time waiting for other students.
After you submit your athlete’s sport, goals, location and availability, Athlete Express matches a local coach to your request. Our coaches are CPR and first aid trained and are current or former college athletes. Matching remains subject to coach availability in your area.
Formal swim lessons can reduce drowning risk, but they are only one layer of water safety. No swimmer is “drown-proof.” Children need close, constant supervision around water, and families should use other recommended safety measures.
Contact Athlete Express within 24 hours after your first lesson. We will work to match you with another coach, and the first lesson with your original coach will be refunded to your original payment method.
If we cannot match you with an available coach who serves your requested area and scheduling needs, your booking is eligible for a full refund under our Coach Match Guarantee.
Before launch, publish your final rescheduling window here. A common approach is to require at least 24 hours’ notice so the coach has a fair opportunity to adjust their schedule. Coach-canceled lessons should be rescheduled without reducing the customer’s package.
Packages are paid through secure Stripe Checkout. Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your final published refund policy should explain coach-match refunds, first-lesson refunds, late cancellations and unused-session rules before customers purchase.
Choose the sport, package and location. Athlete Express handles the coach match.
